A 3- year long project is being proposed from School of Agro & Rural Technology to provide opportunity to innovators in developing and nurturing their new innovative ideas for the production of new innovative products for the agro and allied rural sector which can be sent in to the market for commercialization. The social entrepreneurships are also part of the scope of the project because they also need hand holding. Similarly, the business that has some element of innovation and impacts the marginal section of the society will be supported under the project. Every year, millions of youth from rural and semi urban areas who could not pursue higher and professional education. In such a situation, the need was felt for promoting self-employment particularly for those below poverty line. The project will support the (member) organizations with various techno-commercial activities so that they can grow or sustain in the market.

The project is having following Objectives

• To provide networking platform for making the ecology for (social) innovation
• To advise on management of micro/nano enterprises at various stages of growth/operation
• To support with technical services
• To organize awareness programs, workshops, networking events and skill development programs
• To make a hybrid platform (a kiosk and a web-platform) to popularise small (new) enterprises
