Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA)

2023-01-06

Our labis dedicated to advancing climate smart agriculture through interdisciplinary research, community collaboration, and technological innovation. By promoting sustainable farming practices, building resilience, and ensuring food security in the face of climate change, we strive to contribute to a more sustainable and resilient future for agricultural systems and the communities that depend on them. We focus on understanding the complex interactions between climate change and agriculture and developing strategies through which farmers and communities could adapt and mitigate its impacts. Our work explores a broad array of modelling techniques and their capacity to assist climate-resilient farming. We workin diverse areas related to CSA like crop simulation, soil quality, biofertilizer production, GHGs emission, climate vulnerability and adaptation, and the incorporation of artificial intelligence in decision making.
