Managing soil pollution and its quality improvement is another area that our laboratory focuses on. Studying the impacts of heavy metal contamination on soil ecosystems and developing effective strategies for managing this issue is of special interest. Our primary approach involves utilizing microbial remediation techniques to enhance soil quality. We believe that using microorganisms for bioremediation of heavy metals along with augmentation of soil fertility is a highly efficient, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly strategy.
