This competition is aimed at fabricating human and electrically powered hybrid vehicle. We took this trike to participate in Efficycle 2013 held at UIET Chandigarh. This was our first attempt at making such a vehicle and we did it successfully securing 21st rank out of the 80 participants who qualified for the final round.

The Efficycle has a Tadpole: Seat by seat configuration with its total weight being 314 kgs. It is driven electrically by a 12V battery which delivers a maximum torque of 4.6 Nm. Designed keeping in aim a sustainable and greener world, we at IITG Racing hope that such vehicles make it to mainstream and contribute as much as they can in saving our environment
