The competition was Efficycle 2015, we started to design this vehicle from scratch keeping in mind the failures as well as positives of last two Efficycles. This vehicle cleared all static events easily and secured a TECH OK sticker in first attempt. We made a podium finish at the Endurance run and our overall ranking stood at 7th out of the 100 teams which participated in the main event.

The Efficycle has a Tadpole: Seat by seat configuration with its total weight being 220 kgs, a significant reduction from the last two. It is driven electrically by a 24V battery which delivers a maximum torque of 4.6 Nm. The weight distribution was also optimized to 58:42 (Front: Rear). The innovations in this vehicle worked in our favor and we gave our best performance till now in the Efficycle event.
