Dr. Ramesh Kumar Sonkar received his B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in 2001, M.Tech and Ph.D. degree from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur in 2003 and 2011 respectively. He joined IIT Guwahati as an Assistant Professor in 2011. His research areas cover Silicon Photonics, Integrated Photonics, Fiber lasers Optoelectronics Device Characterization and Fabrication, Microelectronics and III-V Compound Semiconductors, Photonics Integrated Circuits, Fiber Optics Communication, Non-invasive measurement of physiological parameters of human blood, Structural health monitoring, Antennas, Vacuum Electron Devices.

Soibam Aruna Chanu received her B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from National Institute of Technology Manipur in 2015, M.Tech degree in Microelectronics and VLSI Design from National Institute of Technology Silchar in 2019. She joined IIT Guwahati as a Ph.D research scholar in July 2019. Her research interest includes Optoelectronics, Silicon photonics and Photonic crystals. She is currently working on Photonic Crystal MUX/DEMUX design on silicon photonics platform.

Sidhartha Kumar Sahu has completed his B.Tech degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from IIIT Bhubaneswar in 2014. He has earned his M.Tech degree in Communication and Networks specialization from NIT Rourkela in 2019. He joined IIT Guwahati in August 2020 as a Ph.D Research Scholar. Currently he is working on Substrate Integrated Waveguide fed Dielectric Resonator Antenna for Millimeter Wave Applications.

Shamshad Alam completed his B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology in 2017, and M.Tech in VLSI Design from National Institute of Technology Jalandhar in 2019. He later worked as Project Associate in NIT Jalandhar till 2021. He joined IIT Guwahati as a Ph.D research scholar in July 2021. His research interest includes Optoelectronics and Silicon photonics.
