Usage guidelines for Seminar Hall & Discussion Room
For Seminar Hall
- No regular classes will be allowed in the seminar hall.
- The seminar hall should be used against prior booking only.
- Arrangements in the hall should not be altered in any case.
- Eatables or beverages are strictly prohibited inside the seminar hall.
- Student activities can only be conducted with prior approval from the competent authority. Students’ events should be over by 9.30 PM. No loud noise is permitted.
- Requirements for remote, presenter, microphone etc. should be intimated to Mr. Pranpratim Borgohain or Mr. Santanu Majumdar one working day before the event.
- Do not leave any material (book, paper etc.) in the hall.
- At the time of leaving the hall after any programme, make sure that lights, computer, projector, screen, amplifier etc. are properly switched off and inform the security personnel to lock the room.
For Discussion Room
- Discussion room is mainly for use of faculty, students for group discussions, seminar, etc.
- The room should be used against prior booking only.
- No regular classes will be allowed in the discussion room. However, some classes, not on regular basis, may be allowed with proper booking.
- Arrangements in the room should not be altered in any case.
- Eatables or beverages are strictly prohibited inside the discussion room.
- Student activities can only be conducted with prior approval from the competent authority. Students’ events should be over by 9.30 PM. No loud noise is permitted.
