Dr. Nitish R. Mahapatra, a distinguished Professor in the Department of Biotechnology, IIT Madras visited the department on 25^th October 2024 and delivered a lecture titled “Post-transcriptional regulation of Cardiometabolic-Susceptibility genes by microRNAs”. He has more than 80 research articles in reputed international journals. He has received a number of awards/honours for his scientific contributions and he is a member of reputed International and National Scientific Societies
