The Efficycle events is aimed at fabricating an energy efficient human as well as electrically powered hybrid vehicle. The vehicle thus made should be eco-friendly, less power consuming and ergonomic in design. This event aims to promote 'environment sustainability' and pioneer the concept of innovation designs.

Various teams from across India participated in this competition including IIT-Roorkee, IIT-Guwahati, IIT-Jodhpur, IIT-BHU, BITS Hyderabad, etc. The competition was organized by UIET and Punjab university in mid-October 2013. The fourth season of Efficycle event, it witnessed a participation of 209 teams across the country of which 80 were selected for the main event. Delhi's Northern India Engineering College's Team Arjuna came out to be the winner of this coveted competition with our college's Team Evolution bagging a respectable 21st position. The winner team was awarded a memento and ₹1,00,000.
