Research Interest:
Dr. Abhay Pant is currently working as the Assistant Professor in School of Business at IIT Guwahati. He is a fellow (PhD) in economics from Indian Institute of Management Indore and holds MA in financial economics from Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics Pune and B.Sc. in economics from Symbiosis International University Pune. Prior to joining IIT Guwahati, he has worked as an Assistant Professor at IIM Rohtak for over three years. He has also worked as an academic intern at IIM Bangalore. He is the recipient of Symbiosis School of Economics Alumni Achievement Award. His teaching interests include Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Financial Economics and Bank Management. His research areas of interests include Banking, public affairs, governance and technology adoption.
