Concession in Tuition Fee for Most Economically Backward (MEB)
and Other Economically Backward (OEB) Students of BTech and BDes Programmes
Applicable Only for General, General-EWS and OBC-NCL Category Students
Most Economically Backward (MEB) Students are those GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL students whose annual family income from all sources is below 1 lakh. The Tuition Fee is fully waived for MEB students.
Other Economically Backward (OEB) Students are those GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL students whose annual family income from all sources is between 1 lakh and 5 lakhs. For OEB students two-third of the Tuition fee is waived.
A student claiming concession in tuition fee under MEB/OEB categories must submit the following two certificates while filling up data on the Admission Portal:
- Family Annual Income Certificate for the financial year of April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024 issued by the competent authority (District Magistrate / Revenue Officer / Tehsildar) as per the proforma given here in Doc and PDF formats: DOC, PDF.
- Income Affidavit (on non-judicial stamp paper of value Rs. 100/-) as per the proforma given here in Doc and PDF formats: DOC, PDF.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
If it is found that the information given by the student while claiming fee concession is false, then the concession given in tuition fee to the student can be recovered with penal interest, and legal action as deemed fit by the Institute may be taken against the student.
